Lava Horses is a family run company. The family of four welcomes their guests and takes them out riding in the beautiful landscape surrounding the farm Hraunkot.
Tora Katinka, the main guide and director, was born in Norway and moved to Iceland in 2003. Being from another country she saw the farm and its land with tourist’s eyes and realized that Hraunkot was a natural pearl that other people should be able to experience, And what is better than to do that from the saddle and get to know the Icelandic horse at the same time?
