The annual Good Friday Martyr Walk of Justice is a 36km long walk, which starts at Reykjahlíðarkirkja Church with a church service. All participants walk at their own pace. During the walk one can stop by at Skútustaðakirkja Church where the priest are reading the Passion Hymns, a collection of 50 poetic texts written by the Icelandic minister and poet, Hallgrímur Pétursson.
