Eighteen cottages, 20-30 square meters in size, with all modern conveniences await guests. Each one has a spacious terrace on which to admire the stunning view to the mountains across the bay. Kaldbakskot is situated at two lakes, known as the ‘Goldfish lakes‘ because they are naturally heated through geothermal heat. The ponds are not only home to many fish and a rich plant life, Kaldbakstjarnir-lakes are widely known among bird enthusiasts as a good spot to observe the many species. At the other side of the lake an observation ward is the perfect shelter for observers and photographers. Many walkways around the lakes and wider landscape invite guests to take a stroll and explore the surrounding.
