FreeÍ tilefni af 15 ára afmæli Náttúrustofu Norðausturlands og Þekkingarnets Þingeyinga er gestum og gangandi boðið að koma og kynna sér starfsemi þeirra stofnana sem starfa innan Þekkingasetursins á Húsavík. Boðið verður upp á léttar kaffiveitingar.
Náttúrustofan mun kynna helstu rannsóknir sínar. Má þar nefna:
- rannsóknir á vetrarstöðvum fugla
- vöktun fuglastofna
- rannsóknir á plasti í fýlum
- gróðurrannsóknir
- rannsóknir á vatnalífi
Þekkingarnetið kynnir starfsemi sína og námsaðstöðu.
Háskólasetrið kynnir rannsóknir sínar á hvölum.
On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Northeastern Nature Agency and the Þingeyinga Knowledge Network, guests and visitors are invited to come and study the activities of the institutions operating within the Adult Education Centre in Húsavík. Light refreshments will be served. The Nature Agency will present its main research:
- research on bird winter centers
- bird monitoring
- research on plastic in pongs
- vegetation studies
- aquatic life studies
The Knowledge Network presents its activities and study facilities. The University Center presents its research on whales
