2024 Icelandic Presidential Election

Presidential elections will be held in Iceland on 1 June 2024, as incumbent president Guðni Th. Jóhannesson has announced he will not be seeking a third term. You can expect election night parties and events all day.

Sea Monsters at Húsavík Harbour

What's happening at the harbour? On June 12, the Reykjavik Arts Festival visits Húsavík with its incredible creatures. Sea monsters will appear around Húsavík harbour when the circus group Hringleikur and Pilkington Props come together in a new and large-scale Icelandic street theatre production for the whole family.
